Patricia Milillo is originally from the traditional neighborhood of La Boca in the city of Buenos Aires. Argentine professional tango dancer and instructor, she started to dance tango in her native Buenos Aires in 1991. She studied with tango masters such as Gustavo Naveira, and Mingo and Esther Pugliese, Olga Bessio, and some of the most reknown milongueros such as Tete Rusconi, Omar Vega among others. Since then, she has continued dancing, investigating and developing her style and taking her passion for the tango around Argentina and the USA. Her strong background in dance, and passion for the tango greatly enhances the expressiveness of her dancing and makes the execution of technically challenging elements seem effortless. In her dancing and instruction she combines a deep knowledge of tango technicality with a dynamic and musically expressive style. She has also dedicated time to investigate the teaching methodology of the different tango combinations and technique as well as the social interaction between the two dance partners finding ways to make it easy and fun for the tango aficionados to learn and enjoy social dancing. Her training includes tango technique, musicality, rhythm and improvisation, as well as modern dance, contact improvisation, aerial acrobatics and theater, all of which have contributed to her unique and fluid style.
